FAQ

1. My Alpha overheats in 4K. Can you stabilize long takes?

Yes. We refresh thermal pads, verify power delivery, update firmware, and test with your codecs/bit-rates.

2. “Recover Image Database” keeps appearing. Is the card bad?

Often bent pins or a fatigued slot. We repair/replace the reader and validate with UHS-II or CFexpress Type-A media.

3. IBIS rattles when the camera is off. Normal?

A light rattle can be normal. Strong shakes, image jump, or IBIS errors are not—bring it for module alignment/service.

4. The camera won’t recognize my lens.

We clean contacts, check firmware and mount tolerance, and repair the contact block or flex in the lens if needed.

5. What cards should I use for A1/A7S III/A7 IV?

Use CFexpress Type-A for highest bit-rates; otherwise fast SDXC UHS-II V90. Always format in-camera and avoid removing cards while writing.

6. Banding under LED or screen flicker—how to reduce it?

Enable Anti-Flicker/Var. Shutter, switch from full electronic to EFCS or mechanical, and set shutter to the light’s frequency.

7. Can you fix decentering or soft corners on my GM prime?

Yes. We realign optical groups, set flange distance, and verify sharpness across the frame.

8. Pixel mapping for hot pixels—do you offer it?

We run sensor remap, update firmware, and test long-exposure noise performance.

9. Is the micro-HDMI port repairable?

Yes. We replace the connector and add strain-relief guidance to prevent repeat failure.

10. Turnaround and warranty?

Standard 3–5 business days; express 2–3 hours when parts allow. Written warranty 1–3 months by job type.
