FAQ

1. My IBIS makes a light rattle. Is that normal?

A faint rattle when powered off can be normal. Strong shaking, image jump, or IBIS errors are not—bring it for module alignment/service.

2. TG-series was in saltwater. What should I do?

Rinse with fresh water, do not open the doors, and get it to us the same day. We replace gaskets, stop corrosion, and pressure-test the seals.

3. How often should I clean the sensor on Micro Four Thirds?

Use a hand blower first. If spots remain, we perform a wet clean and dust map. Avoid canned air and household wipes to protect coatings.

4. My PRO lens has a focus clutch. Can you recalibrate it?

Yes. We set hard-stop positions, check encoder alignment, and verify AF/MF switching and infinity focus.

5. “Card error” appears randomly. Is it the card or the camera?

We inspect the slot, replace bent pins if needed, and test with UHS-II SDXC cards. Always format in-camera and avoid removal while writing.

6. Can you reduce flicker/banding under LED lights?

Switch from full electronic to mechanical/EFCS and enable Anti-Flicker or set shutter speed to match the light frequency.

7. Live Composite/Live ND shows strange patterns. Fixable?

We check sensor temps, power delivery, and firmware. We also advise exposure settings to avoid over-accumulation artifacts.

8. Can you correct decentering on my M.Zuiko PRO lens?

Yes. We realign optical groups and verify edge sharpness and centering across apertures and distances.

9. When is a shutter replacement required?

Symptoms include uneven exposure, ERR messages, and banding on mechanical shots. We replace the block and calibrate timing.

10. Turnaround and warranty?

Standard 3–5 business days; express 2–3 hours when parts allow. Written warranty 1–3 months by job type.
